Epic Games Store Offers Viewfinder as Today’s Free Game

The Epic Games Store has updated its daily free games lineup, replacing SKALD: Against the Black Priory with Viewfinder. PC players can claim the game for free and keep it permanently if they download it before the next free title becomes available today, December 30.

Developed by Sad Owl Studios, Viewfinder is a unique single-player puzzle game that revolves around perspective and photography. Players solve challenges by using a camera, manipulating existing images, or taking new photos of the environment from different angles. By placing these photos into the game world, players can literally change reality.
Most puzzles involve blending 2D images into a 3D world, creating new structures and paths to progress through levels. The free Viewfinder offer on the Epic Games Store is available for 24 hours as part of the holiday promotion.
This special holiday giveaway still has a few days remaining before it ends, with the next mystery free game set to be revealed and released to all PC players at 8:00 AM Pacific Time.
So far, the Epic Games Store has given away several major titles during the event, including Hogwarts Legacy, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, Eternights, Blood West, Sorry We’re Closed, Paradise Killer, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, The Callisto Protocol, Disco Elysium – The Final Cut, We Were Here Together, Cassette Beasts, and SKALD: Against the Black Priory. The promotion continues through December 31, with a new free game released every day.
