Tourism exchange between Russia and the UAE continues to grow steadily, with 1.47 million Russian citizens visiting the UAE in 2024, according to media materials prepared for the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Russia’s TASS agency reported.
According to the documents, tourism between the two countries has seen significant growth, as the number of trips made by Russian citizens to the UAE in 2024 increased by 13.4% compared to 2023, reaching 1.47 million visits.
The documents also noted that the number of Emirati visitors to Russia rose by 54%, reaching 67,000 people — the highest figure among Gulf countries.
